12 Nov 2009Yesterday we reported that South Korean Samsung expects to continue their success next year and thus put himself solidly in second place of the world’s largest mobile manufacturers as many users now to buy mobile phone by LG. Their compatriots from LG, which is currently the world’s third largest mobile manufacturer, seems to also expect the same success.
Increase in sales LG mobile
Skott Ahn, executive director of LG’s mobile division, stated in an interview with Wall Street Journal said that he expects to get an LG prosper in the number of sold cell phones at 20 percent both this year and in 2010. In comparison, Samsung expects an increase of 10-20 percent next year.
Are in third place
In the third quarter this year analysts estimated IDCThat LG had a market share of 11 percent, while Samsung was sitting on 21 percent of the market. LG overtakes hardly Samsung right away, and both companies are still way behind Nokia, which sits on nearly 38 percent of the market.
