Gaming console: Now, Facebook for Xbox

It has been known for some time that social media is about to invade the gaming console from Microsoft, but it is only now that the details of this begins to seep out.

In other words, services like Facebook, Twitter and Last.FM, which will be accessed via the menu system, the Xbox: one after the next upgrade. A public beta version is expected be released in mid or late October, making it likely that the sharp update in November.

According to initial reports look Facebook client out to work fine in the Xbox connection. Fast, stylish and with possible automatic status updates on achievements and other game-related data. In addition, it apparently able to upload videos and screenshots from their games to the Facebook account.
